Dr. Gopinathan Erambally : Dr. Gopinathan is Prof. & Head, Dept of Electronics Engineering, National Institute of Technology, Calicut. He joined the NTPL Advisory Board, in September 2002.
After earning his B.Sc. (Engineering.) in Electronics & Communication Engineering from Kerala University (1970) and M.Tech. in Electronic Circuits from IIT Kanpur (1977), Dr. Gopinathan did his Doctorate in Digital Signal Processing from IIT Delhi in 1984.
A highly regarded teacher and guide, Dr. Gopinathan through his long career span has served as Lecturer at REC Calicut (1971-1983), Asst. Professor at REC Calicut (1983-1988), Professor& Head Electronics & Computer Engineering at Yanbu Industrial College, KSA (1989-1993) and Professor& Head Electronics & Communication Engineering., AMA College of Engineering., Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu (1993-1994). He is now Professor and HOD (Electronics engineering) at NIT Calicut, 1988 onwards.
Besides teaching, Dr. Gopinathan finds time from his busy schedule and serves as Expert member, National Board of Accreditation, AICTE, New Delhi, Expert member, Board of Studies, Bangalore University, Chairman, B.Tech Electronics & Communication Engineering., Calicut University, Chairman, M.Tech. Electronics, Calicut University, Chairman, Computer Society of India, Calicut Chapter and as Member, Information Kerala Mission, Govt. of Kerala.
Howard Tungson : Mr. Howard Tungson is a freelancing Project Coordinator and Marketing Expert in System design and programming. He is a part of NTPL advisory Board since its inception in July 2002.
After earning his graduation in Computer Science from San Diego State University in 1992, Mr. Howard started his career with Toyo Information System (Hong Kong) (1992-1996) where he was the Operation Supervisor for EDP services for Sanwa Bank and JCB Credit Card. Then he was with Merrill Lynch, Hong Kong (1996-1997) as Project Coordinator where he used to Monitor and supervise the design and development process of CRM Workflow project for AP regional office. Then he joined Seapower Securities, Hong Kong (1997 1998) as Project Coordinator for the Development of Forex settlement Program.

Dr. Mathew Chalil : Dr. Mathew Chalil is the Provincial of CMI, Calicut Province. He is a part of NTPL advisory board from September 2002.
Since receiving his M.Sc. in Mathematics from IIT Madras in 1970, he joined as teaching staff in the Department of Mathematics at St. Joseph's College, Devagiri. During his career span, Dr. Chalil has served as Manager, Devagiri College from 1982-89 and then as Principal, Devagiri College from 1989 - 95. He was the CMI General Secretary for Education from 1996 - 2002.
Besides publishing scores of articles in professional journals, Dr. Chalils Research Publications include, Asymptotic Limits for Perturbed Functionals of Calculus of Variation (1981), Recovery of Peechi Reservoir from the Accidental Phenol Pollution (1994), Decontamination of Polluted Aquifer of Finite Width (1994), and Pollution Build up in an Aquifer Adjacent to a Contaminated Canal (1995).
Apart from teaching, writing and doing research, Dr. Chalil found time to serve as - Director of Indian Institute of Christian Studies, University of Calicut, Project Consultant of Rajiv Gandhi National Drinking Water Mission and as Principal Project Adviser of National Transportation Planning and Research Centre, New Delhi.
